They all are healthy and full of energy. This is the last week the pups will be with us as they will be going to their new families and starting their new lives.

The puppies are coming along great. This week we separated Lady completely from the pups and although they dont like it they still did great without her. Potty training is also coming along fine and have slowly started to identify when they need to go potty and go outside instead of going in there nursery. We will continue to w ork on this until they leave.

Great Pyrenees Puppies Turn 5 Weeks

The puppies are 5 weeks old and again they are continuing to do wonderful. This week the puppies continued to eat whole dry puppy food as well as continued to nurse on Lady when she would stand around long enough for them to suck. This week Lady has started to wean the puppies and is allowing the pups to nurse less and less which is right on schedule. This weekend we have opened up there nursery to allow the puppies to go outside with Lady and work at going to the potty outside with her instead of going on there newspapers.

This week the puppies went from drinking milk and eating Mush to drinking water out of the bowl and eating solid food. They are growing great and really learning to play with one another. They each have such cute personalities and its so enjoyable to listen to them bark at one another as well as cover each other in slobber.

Great Pyrenees Puppies Turn 3 Weeks Old

This was a very exciting week for the puppies as well as for us. This week the last few puppies opened their eyes as well as their ears and had a blast discovering their voices and exploring the area that they live in. This week we also introduced the pups to milk in a bowl taking to it very well. Over the next week we will continue to help supplement the pups with milk at night and as the days continue we will start to add ground up puppy food to the milk and give them solid foods.
