Great Pyrenees Puppies Turn 7 Weeks Old

Its amazing to see how fast they grow and mature and right now they are ready to go out into the world and get to work either as a family pet or a livestock guardian. Luna is continuing to wean these guys although they really dont need the extra milk as they are now eating a TON of food. Potty training is also going great and we really only have 1-2 accidents in the nursery every day with the majority going outside. This will be the last week the pups will be with us, next weekend these pups will be off to meet their new families.

Great Pyrenees Puppies Turn 6 Weeks Old

The pups are doing great and growing so much each day. This week we removed the newspaper from the nursery and the pups are almost potty trained at least with pooping outside. Sometimes they wake up and cant make it outside to pee but overall they are doing great. They are now eating lots and lots of food and drinking vast amounts of water. Luna has started to slowly wean them allowing them to nurse more as a comfort than for milk. Even with the snow and cold the pups are learning to love being outside with Luna.

This week the pups mastered how to eat and drink and have really gained weight. Earlier this week we opened up their nursery and they now have access to go outside when ever they want which in turn greatly reduces the amount of accidents on the newspaper. Luna has started to wean the pups and is teaching them manners with eating and showing them that she is still the top of the food chain. This week we will continue to see them grow and spend more time outside with Luna learning how to bark at noises in the night.

This week we introduced the pups to milk getting them used to lapping up a liquid. Then as the days went on we introduced crushed up puppy food into this milk and now the pups are eating whole puppy food dry and lapping water out of a self waterer. They also have really advanced with learning to potty on the newspapers and not anywhere they like. This week we will continue to let them grow and mature and if the weather cooperates we will start to allow them outside with Luna towards week 6. We still have Male #4 available, to place a deposit on him please follow this link: Available Great Pyrenees
